Research

One of the greatest challenges in middle grades mathematics education is serving the diverse preparation and needs of students within a framework that is both driven by research yet simplifies the management task. Our vision was clear – create a next generation digital learning systems focused on dynamic assessment, grounded in research on learning trajectories around big ideas, and designed to inform instructional practices within competency-based or personalization-based models of school change (as well as other more traditional approaches). The result is Math-Mapper, an integrated set of tools and curriculum that finally integrates decades of education research with advanced technology.
